As a result of the Act 51, Reinventing Education Act of 2004, the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE) found itself responsible for maintaining all school repairs previously managed by another agency. DOE needed to quickly implement a work-order system to replace a legacy, paperbased system that was too cumbersome and would not be transferred.
A follow up meeting to a 3 C's workshop held to identify conflicts and issues that had been coming up between agencies and utilities.
